Third Chief of Staff Event Features Rick Murphy, Chief of Staff to Senator Kelly Ayotte

U.S. Capitol Historical Society News

As part of its mission to educate and inform the public about Congress and the legislative process, the U.S. Capitol Historical Society (USCHS) holds an exclusive breakfast or lunch where we bring together a Congressional staff member with USCHS Leadership Council and Constitution Signers members.

Our special guest at this year’s luncheon is Rick Murphy who is Chief of Staff to Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire. Rick began his career in politics working for New Hampshire Governor Judd Gregg’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. After Senator Gregg was successfully elected, Rick worked as a staffer through his first term. For fifteen years, Rick ran his own lobbying firm representing public and private companies.

As someone who has been active in public policy and politics at the federal level for two decades, we are delighted to welcome Rick Murphy as our guest on September 16th.

Thank you to Express Scripts for hosting this event.
