Event Description

On Tuesday, October 12 at Noon EDT, join the U.S. Capitol Historical Society as it kicks-off its Gilded Age Symposium Series with a panel discussion on political developments of the period. Professor Paul McCartney of Towson University will discuss the growth of American Imperialism, Professor Katharine Bjork of Hamline University will discuss changes in relations with Native Americans, and Professor Hidetaka Hirota of Sophia University will discuss developments in immigration policy. The event is free and open to the public; registration is required.
