Join USCHS Chief Guide Steve Livengood on Tuesday, February 23rd at Noon EST as he explores the life of Rick Olmsted, son and successor of the legendary landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Learn about the lasting legacy he left in Washington, DC through his service on the McMillan Commission, which realized Pierre L’Enfant’s vision for the National Mall and reshaped other public spaces in the city, and the impact that work has today. The event is free and open to the public; registration is required.
