2016 Member Appreciation Event

On the evening of February 2nd, USCHS supporters were treated to an up-close viewing of the Capitol’s Brumidi Corridors by the experts who are rescuing these extraordinary works of art from layers of paint and grime. This was an unparalleled opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Brumidi’s vision as well as the practical challenges of art conservation.

USCHS is so appreciative to the Architect of the Capitol, Cunningham-Adams Conservation, and the Office of the Secretary of the Senate for making this such a memorable evening for our supportive members.
